India Cancels HPCL's Land Allocation at Visakhapatnam PCPIR

Indian state-owned Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL; Mumbai) has lost its land allocation for a previously announced petrochemicals complex at Visakhapatnam in the state of Andra Pradesh, one of India’s planned Petroleum, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Investment Regions (PCPIRs) because of a lack of progress with the project, according to government officials.
