Uralkali Reports Increased Net Sales, Net Profits

Uralkali (Berezniki, Russia), one of the world leaders in potash production, says net sales in the first half of 2012 increased 15.1%, to $1.9 billion, compared with $1.65 billion in the first half of 2011. Net profits and Ebitda also increased 6% and 32.8% in the first half of 2012, to $842 million and $1.4 billion, respectively.
