Uralkali Announces 10-Year Potash Expanson Program

Uralkali (Berezniki, Russia), one of the world's biggest producers of potash, has announced a 10-year capacity expansion program costing an estimated $5.8 billion. The program aims to increase the company's potash capacity by about 80%, to 19 million m.t./year by 2021. The expansion will be achieved through a mix of greenfield and brownfield projects, the company says.
