Uralchem and Stamicarbon to develop technology for urea production

Fertilizer producer Uralchem (Moscow) says it has signed a joint technology development agreement with Stamicarbon (Sittard, Netherlands), a developer and licensor of urea processes, for the synthesis of urea. The agreement is expected to result in the creation of a new technology that will be available for commercial use globally, Uralchem says.
