Regions :: Eastern Europe :: Russia UOP Licenses Technology to Lukoil for FCC, Propylene Units in Russia4:15 AM MDT | August 2, 2012 | Natasha Alperowicz UOP says that it has agreed to license to Lukoil (Moscow) its technology to produce blending components used to make high-octane gasoline and propylene as well as other petrochemicals at Lukoil’s Nizhnii Novgorod, Russia, complex. The suite of technology will be used in a new integrated fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) complex. The new units, expected to start up in 2015, will produce more than 1 million m.t./year of gasoline blending components and more than 170,000 m.t./year of propylene.
