Topsøe Lands Methanol Deal in Russia

Haldor Topsøe has signed a contract with ZAO East Siberian Gas Processing Co. (Yakutsk, Russia) covering license and basic engineering design for a 450,000-m.t./year methanol plant. The plant will consume natural gas supplied by ZAO East Siberian. Topsøe’s methanol technology was selected in an international tender that started last March, the company says.
