Tatneft Advances Refinery, Aromatics Complex in Russia

Tatneft (Almetyevsk, Russia) says it is proceeding with previously announced plans to build an oil refinery and petrochemical complex at Nizhnekamsk, Russia. The company has awarded an engineering services contract to a consortium led by Maire Tecnimont and including GS Engineering & Construction (Seoul) for the first phase of the project, which will include a 7-million m.t./year refinery and an aromatics complex.
