The company has awarded an engineering services contract to a consortium led by Maire Tecnimont and including GS Engineering & Construction (Seoul) for the first phase of the project, which will include a 7-million m.t./year refinery and an aromatics complex. UOP is providing technology for a 151,000-m.t./year para-xylene plant, a 1.1-million m.t./year naphtha hydrotreater, and a 500,000-m.t./year...
