Socar Invites Bids for Ammonia-Urea Project in Azerbaijan

State Oil Co. of Azerbaijan (Socar; Baku) has issued invitations to bid for a grassroots nitrogen fertilizer complex to be built by its Azerikhimya subsidiary at Sumgait, Azerbaijan. The complex will comprise units producing ammonia, urea and will also include a urea granulation plant. The urea plant will be designed to produce 2,000 m.t./day.   The lumpsum turnkey contract will cover engineering, procurement and construction services.
