Sibur's 2007 Income Rises

Sibur (Moscow), a Gazprom subsidiary reported full-year 2007 net income up 4%, to 22.3 billion rubles ($944 million), on sales up 17%, to 142.7 billion rubles. Operating income improved about 3%, to 28.9 billion rubles. “These results again show a strong financial performance building on the successes of the previous year,” says president Dmitry Konov. “However, to maintain our growth we will be focused on increasing the efficiency of existing production sites and on the construction of new state of the art facilities in gas processing and polymers,”...
