Regions :: Eastern Europe :: Russia Sibur and Rhodia Advance Specialty Surfactants JV in Russia1:39 AM MDT | April 18, 2012 | Natasha Alperowicz Rhodia, a member of the Solvay group, and Sibur say they are advancing with previously announced plans to create a specialty surfactants manufacturing joint venture, which would become a leading player in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The jv will focus on the home and personal care and oil and gas markets, two sectors growing at more than 6%/year, the companies say. The partners have completed studies to set up a manufacturing complex at Sibur’s petrochemical site in Dzerzhinsk with completion expected in 2014...
