Regions :: Eastern Europe :: Russia Sibur Studying New Petrochemical Product Pipeline to Serve Tobolsk Complex2:44 AM MDT | July 2, 2010 | Natasha Alperowicz Sibur says it has begun engineering studies to build a new petroleum product pipeline connecting Sibur's Yuzhno-Balyksk gas processing plant with the company's Tobolsk-Neftekhim complex at Tobolsk, more than 400 km away. The current Yuzhno-Balyksk pipeline has capacity to transport 4.2 million m.t./year of natural gas liquids (NGLs). The new pipeline would enable the volumes of NGLs with high ethane content o increase to 7 million m.t./year.
