Regions :: Eastern Europe :: Russia Sibur Reports Increase in Petchem Production, Decrease in Polymers Output in 20115:34 AM MST | February 14, 2012 | Sotirios Frantzanas Sibur's petrochemical production went up by 6.7% in 2011, to 14.4 million m.t. Polymers and synthetic rubbers production, however, decreased 4.6% and 1.4% in 2011, to 564,700 m.t. and 427,600 m.t., respectively, Sibur says. The company says its associated petroleum gas (APG) intake, increased 3.3% in 2011 to 18 billion cu meters compared with 17.5 billion cu meters in 2010. Sibur's mineral fertilizers output and tire production increased in 2011 by 3% and 54%, to approximately 3 million m.t. and 13.4 million units, respectively. Sibur's tire and fertilizers...
