Sibur Plans Staff Reductions

Sibur (Moscow) plans to cut 10% of staff at its management company, Sibur LLC, in 2008. About 4% will be cut this month. The management company currently employs 1,000. All of the job losses will be at Sibur’s Moscow office. The move will “cut administrative costs and impel executives to a more careful labor budgeting,” Sibur says.
