Sibur Completes Sale of Tire Business

Sibur (Moscow) confirms completion of the sale of  its tire business, Sibur-Russian Tyres (SRT), to a group of investors. Vadim Gurinov, former CEO of Russia's largest tire manufacturer, and the management of SRT are some of the members of the group that acquired SRT, Sibur says. SRT sold two manufacturing operations in a restructuring process that preceded the sale of the company. The operations are Sibur-Volzhskiy, a manufacturer of synthetic fibers, and Volzhkiy Nitrogen and Oxygen Plant, which specializes in commercial-grade gas production. The plants...
