SNF to build acrylamide facility in Russia

Lukoil (Moscow) says that SNF (Andrézieux, France) has agreed on a project to produce acrylamide and polyacrylamide at the production site of Lukoil’s petrochemical subsidiary, Saratovorgsintez (Saratov, Russia). SNF will implement the project in two phases: in the first phase, production units that will produce 50,000 m.t./year of acrylamide and 30,000 m.t./year of polyacrylamide will be established, and they are expected to become operational in the first quarter of 2016; in the second phase, acrylamide production will be expanded to 60,000...
