Rosneft outlines configuration of Nakhodka petchem project

Rosneft (Moscow) has given more details regarding its previously announced Vostochnaya Neftekhimicheskaya petrochemical project planned near Nakhodka, in Russia’s far east. The complex will include a steam cracker designed to produce 1.4 million m.t./year of ethylene and 600,000 m.t./year of propylene, using mainly naphtha as feedstock. Downstream units will include facilities producing polyethylene, polypropylene, linear alpha olefins, and monoethylene glycol, the company says.
