Rosneft and Pirelli in rubber project talks in Russia, Rosneft to take stake in Pirelli

Rosneft (Moscow) chairman Igor Sechin has held negotiations with Pirelli top management, including Marco Tronchetti Provera, CEO of Pirelli & C., on cooperation in synthetic rubber production at Nakhodka, in far eastern Russia. Rosneft last year signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Mitsui & Co. to develop the Vostochnaya Neftekhimicheskaya petrochemical project near Nakhodka.
