Reports: Freight train derailment in Russia causes chemical leak

A train transporting chemical and nonchemical products derailed in the town of Belaya Kalitva, in the Rostov-on-Don Region, Russia, about 1,000 kilometers from Moscow, on 9 May, various Russian news sources report. As a result of the accident that involved 50 of the 69 railcars that made up the train, a methylene chloride leak was detected, the reports say.
