Praxair Acquires Gases Business in Russia

Praxair says it has agreed to acquire the industrial and packaged gases business of Sibur-Russian Tyres (SRT; Moscow) in the Volgograd region of Russia. The business operates under the Volzhsky Azot name and it includes two air separation units and a bulk and packaged gases business. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
