Move to Kill Off Counterfeit Pesticides

The Russian government, together with Europe’s largest pesticide companies, launched a campaign last week to curb the growth in sales of counterfeit pesticides in Russia. The campaign is one of several to be launched in Europe against counterfeit pesticides, says pesticide manufacturers’ group the European Crop Protection Association (Brussels). The campaigns are urging the adoption of measures to prevent counterfeit pesticides from entering the market, and the introduction of necessary improvements to legislation.
