LyondellBasell in Talks on Petchems JV in Tatarstan

LyondellBasell is in early discussions to form a petrochemicals manufacturing joint venture in the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, CW has learned. The talks form part of LyondellBasell's plans to strengthen its presence in Russia and the countries of the CIS, and are in addition to earlier announced plans for a $4 billion petrochemicals complex in Kazakhstan.
