Lukoil Plans Petchem Complex Based on Caspian Sea Gas

Lukoil (Moscow), Russia’s largest oil and gas group with revenues exceeding $60 billion/year, says its Lukoil Neftekhim chemicals subsidiary is close to completing a study to construct a multibillion-dollar petrochemical complex in southern Russia. The complex will process ethane, natural gas liquids, and gas condensates from Lukoil’s offshore oil and gas fields in the northern part of the Caspian Sea.
