India imposes antidumping duty on soda ash imports from Turkey and Russia

India’s Ministry of Finance has imposed a definitive five-year antidumping duty on imports of soda ash from Russia and Turkey. The Department of Revenue said that the duty in the case of Turkey will range from $18.39/m.t. to $75.16/m.t., depending on the producer and exporter. The duty on Russian imports into India is $35.99/m.t.   The move follows recommendation by the designated authority within the Ministry of Commerce to impose a definitive antidumping duty on soda ash imports from the two countries.
