Hexion’s Resins Joint Venture in Russia Begins Production

Hexion Specialty Chemicals says its joint venture company with industrial chemicals producer OAO Shchekinoazot (Shchekino, Russia) has begun manufacturing resins for forest products and construction markets. The Hexion-Shchekinoazot jv, which was formed in 2007, will produce resin systems used in mineral wool insulation, plywood, oriented strand board (OSB) and laminate products at its facility located in Tula region, Russia.
