Hexion Forms Russian Resins Venture

Hexion Specialty Chemicals and OAO Shchekinoazot (Pervomaiskii, Russia), an industrial chemicals producer, have formed a joint venture to produce resins for the forest products and construction markets. The jv will manufacture resin systems used in mineral wool insulation, plywood, medium-density fiberboard, and particleboard, Hexion says.
