Gazprom Subsidiary Plans Naphtha Cracker

Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat (GNS; Salavat, Russia), a Gazprom subsidiary, has embarked on a major investment program that includes construction of a world-scale naphtha cracker. The company, formerly known as Salavatnefteorgsintez, is a producer of refinery products and petrochemicals, and it makes fertilizers through the JSC Meleuz Mineral Fertilizers (Meleuz, Russia) business.
