Regions :: Eastern Europe :: Russia Gazprom Subsidiaries Firm up Polyolefin Venture1:10 PM MDT | July 24, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Sibur (Moscow) and Orenburggazprom (Orenburg, Russia) say that their previously announced polyolefins complex in the Orenburg region will have capacity to produce 450,000 m.t./year of polypropylene (PP) and 650,000 m.t./year of polyethylene (PE) (CW, Aug. 23, 2006, p. 13). The companies are both subsidiaries of Gazprom. They plan to form a joint venture for the PP and PE project after securing Gazprom’s approval.
