Gazprom Subsidiaries Firm up Polyolefin Venture

Sibur (Moscow) and Orenburggazprom (Orenburg, Russia) say that their previously announced polyolefins complex in the Orenburg region will have capacity to produce 450,000 m.t./year of polypropylene (PP) and 650,000 m.t./year of polyethylene (PE) (CW, Aug. 23, 2006, p. 13).
