Regions :: Eastern Europe :: Russia DuPont Opens Tech Center in Russia; to Build Biotech Unit in India12:33 PM MDT | July 26, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff DuPont says it has opened a titanium dioxide (TiO2) technical center at Dzerzhinsk, Russia to support the coatings, plastics, and paper industries in the region. The company also says it will invest more than RU1 billion ($22.7 million) to build a biotechnology R&D center at Hyderabad, India, scheduled for completion in 2008. The facility, to be called DuPont Knowledge Center, will “develop biotech traits and technologies that will be incorporated into multiple crops for markets around the world,” DuPont...
