DuPont Opens Tech Center in Russia; to Build Biotech Unit in India

DuPont says it has opened a titanium dioxide (TiO2) technical center at Dzerzhinsk, Russia to support the coatings, plastics, and paper industries in the region. The company also says it will invest more than RU1 billion ($22.7 million) to build a biotechnology R&D center at Hyderabad, India, scheduled for completion in 2008.
