Acron Extends Bid for Tarnów; Poland Not Keen to Sell to Acron

Acron Group (Velikii Novgorod, Russia) announced today that it hasextended its offer to acquire a majority share in Poland’s leading chemicals maker ZakÅ‚ady Azotowe w Tarnowie-MoÅ›cicach (Tarnów, Poland) by one week to July 13, 2012. Acron, through subsidiary Norica Holding S.a.r.l, is seeking to buy a 66% share in the Polish company.   “We again extend the subscription period under the announced tender offer for Azoty Tarnów shares,” says Vladimir Kantor, v.p.
