Sibur sells Plastik subsidiary

Sibur (Moscow) says that it has sold its 100% stake in its Plastik (Uzlovaya, Russia) subsidiary to a group of private investors, for 575 million Russian rubles ($17.5 million). Plastik's asset base includes styrene production capacity of up to 60,000 m.t./year, expandable polystyrene production capacity of up to 11,000 m.t./year, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene production capacity of 23,000 m.t./year, and separators and phenolic plastics production capacity of 6,380 m.t./year.
