Gazprom to begin constructing chemicals and helium complex in Russia's far east in 2015

The construction of a gas-chemical complex in the Amur region of Russia’s far east planned by Gazprom (Moscow) could begin in 2015, according to local reports. The region's government is considering starting construction in the second half of 2015, says Vasily Orlov, Amur's minister of economic development. The total cost of the complex, planned near Seryshevo, is estimated at 620 billion Russian rubles ($19 billion).
