Umicore to build catalyst plant in Poland

Umicore (Brussels) says that it will build a new production facility at Nowa Ruda, Poland, to produce emission control catalysts used in cars and trucks. Umicore will invest about €40 million ($54 million) to build the plant, which will initially create about 80 new jobs. Construction will start in July, and the plant is expected to become operational in early 2016.
