SW Buys Polish Paintmaker; Jotun Expands in the U.S.

Sherwin-Williams (SW) says it plans to acquire protective wood coatings producer Altax (Poznan, Poland), for an undisclosed sum. Altax has 70 employees and will be folded into SW’s Ronseal coatings business that serves the professional and do-it-yourself paint sectors. The deal is SW’s fourth in the last 12 months.
