PKN Orlen Sharpens Focus on Chemical Businesses

PKN Orlen (PÅ‚ock, Poland), Eastern Europe’s largest refiner and petrochemical producer, says it plans to form a new business unit dedicated to the development of Orlen’s chemical and petchem activities. The move will add a third leg to Orlen’s refining and fuel retailing businesses. The group appointed board member Marek Serafin earlier this month to head the new unit.
