Regions :: Eastern Europe :: Poland Makhteshim Makes Two Acquisitions9:55 AM MST | December 15, 2008 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Makhteshim Agan Industries (MAI; Tel Aviv) says it has agreed to acquire 90% of agchem producer Rokita Agro (Brzeg Dolny, Poland) from PCC (Duisburg, Germany) and signed a separate agreement to buy agchem distributor Magan Yu (Subotica, Serbia). MAI will pay a combined $20 million for the acquisitions, both of which are due to be completed in early 2009.
