KI Chemistry ups offer to acquire Ciech

KI Chemistry, a unit of Kulczyk Investments controlled by Poland's richest man Jan Kulczyk, has increased its offer for Ciech (Warsaw) to 31 Polish zloty ($10.17)/share on Thursday, valuing Ciech at zl 1.08 billion. Earlier this month, the Polish treasury, which holds 38.7% of Ciech, said that the previous price offered did not reflect the market value and Ciech’s potential. That price was zl 29.50/share.
