Regions :: Eastern Europe :: Poland Indorama Buys PET, Polyester Assets in Poland and Indonesia4:44 PM MST | December 9, 2010 | Ian Young Indorama Ventures (Bangkok) says it has agreed to acquire assets from SK Chemicals (Seoul) in Poland and Indonesia. Indorama will buy SK Eurochem, which has capacity for 140,000 m.t./year of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) at Wloclawek, Poland. It will also purchase PT SK Keris, which has combined capacity for 160,000 m.t./year of PET and polyester filament yarn (PFY), and its PT SK Fiber subsidiary, which has capacity for 36,000 m.t./year of PFY.
