Czech Firm Spolana Up for Sale Again

Anwil (Wloclawek, Poland), a member of the PKN Orlen Group (Plock, Poland) has put Spolana (Neratovice, Czech Republic), its wholly owned subsidiary, up for sale just three years after assuming full ownership of the company. Spolana, a producer of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), chlor-alkalis, caprolactam, sulfuric acid and nitrogen fertilizers, was acquired by Anwil from Unipertrol (Prague), another PKN Orlen subsidiary, in 2006. Anwil assumed full ownership of Spolana in 2008.
