BASF invests €150 million to develop mobile emissions catalysts production facility in Poland

BASF says it is investing an initial €90 million ($115 million) to build a mobile emissions catalysts production facility at Sroda Slaska, a special economic zone near Wrocław, Poland. The new mobile emissions catalysts production facility will cover an area of 431,000 sq ft, and it will be BASF's largest in Europe. Construction will start before the end of 2012, and the facility will commence production in the first quarter of 2014, the company says.
