PPG starts production of protective and marine coatings at Poland facility

PPG Industries says it has started manufacturing protective and marine coatings (PMC) at the company’s facility at Ostrów Wielkopolski, Poland. The facility became a part of PPG through the acquisition of Dyrup (Copenhagen), which was completed in January 2012, and the facility previously produced architectural coatings. The Ostrów Wielkopolski facility now produces PMC products for the construction, petrochemical, shipbuilding, and energy industries, PPG says.
