Univar Buys Distributor in Turkey

Univar has agreed to acquire chemical distributor Eral-Protek (Istanbul) for an undisclosed amount. The deal is expected to close next month. Eral-Protek distributes a wide range of products from three warehouses in Turkey. Products include a number of exclusive lines, and the company has a strong focus on specialty chemicals, in line with Univar's own specialty chemicals offering, Univar says.
