TVK reports rise in profitability, sales

Petrochemical producer TVK (Tiszaújváros, Hungary) says that its operating profit in fourth-quarter 2013 was 411 million forint ($1.82 million) compared with a loss of Ft115 million in the corresponding quarter in 2012. Ebitda was Ft3.75 billion in the fourth quarter of 2013 compared with Ft3.44 billion a year ago, or 9%. Net sales rose from Ft100.3 billion in fourth-quarter 2012 to Ft104.7 billion in fourth-quarter 2013, or 4% year-on-year (YOY).
