Reichhold to expand coating resins capacity in Turkey

Reichhold (Durham, NC) will expand its coating resin capacity in Turkey, the company has announced. The company says it will build a greenfield resin plant at the Arlansbey Organized Area at Kartepe Kocaeli, 90 kilometers from Istanbul, with capacity for 20,000 m.t./year of liquid and powder coating resin. The new plant will occupy 25,000 sq meters on a site owned by Prosim Kimya (Istanbul), which will also operate the plant. The project is scheduled to be complete in 2015.
