Capacity will rise by 10,000 m.t./year, to 30,000 m.t./year for startup in the third quarter of 2013. The expansion is designed to meet rising demand for amino acids used in animal feed, Evonik says. The project in Hungary complements two other recent expansion announcements by Evonik for amino acids.
