Donau Chemie to Build Water Treatment Plant at BorsodChem Site

Donau Chemie (Vienna) will build a water treatment chemicals plant at the Kazincbarcika, Hungary manufacturing site of BorsodChem (Kazincbarcika), BorsodChem says. The water treatment  chemicals plant will consume hydrochloric acid made as a byproduct of BorsodChem's isocyanates production. The plant will require an initial investment of about €6 million and it is due to start up at the end of 2012.
