BorsodChem Considers Delaying Completion of TDI Plant

BorsodChem (Kazincbarcika, Hungary) says it is considering delaying completion of a toluene diisocyanate (TDI) project at Kazincbarcika because of a decline in demand for the product, partly caused by customer destocking. The TDI plant under construction is BorsodChem’s second and will have a capacity of 200,000 m.t./year.
