Johnson Matthey completes emission-control catalysts expansion in Macedonia

Johnson Matthey (JM) has opened a €60-million expansion of its emission-control catalysts facility at Bunardzik, Macedonia. The expansion consists of two additional manufacturing lines and increases the site's total capacity to about 10 million catalysts/year. The additional capacity produces a new generation of catalysts for light-duty and heavy-duty diesel engines. These are mainly selective catalyst reduction catalysts used to cut emissions of nitrogen oxides. The expansion will help to meet rising demand for catalysts that meet tighter vehicle emissions...
