Unipetrol to buy ENI's stake in Czech refinery to secure petchem feedstocks

Unipetrol (Prague), a member of the Orlen Group (Plock, Poland) on 3 July exercised its pre-emptive right and accepted the offer from ENI International to acquire ENI’s 32.4% stake in ńĆeská Rafinérská for €30 million ($40.8 million). ENI earlier this year announced that it was divesting its shareholdings in refineries in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania to the MOL Group (Budapest).
