Regions :: Eastern Europe Polyplex to Build PET Resin Plant in Turkey5:57 AM MDT | May 30, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh Polyester films producer Polyplex (Gautam Buddh Nagar, India) is planning to invest $150 million to build a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin plant at Çorlu, Turkey, say local press reports. The plant will have a production capacity of 600,000 m.t./year. Construction of the plant will begin next month and it will be completed in two phases. The first phase of construction will be completed in the first quarter of 2013 and the second phase will be completed in 2016. The plant will employ about 250 people.
