Output Declines in Europe

Output of chemicals declined 3.2% in the European Union (EU) in November 2011 compared with the previous November, Cefic says. "The current EU chemicals industry production trend is in line with the deterioration of the EU business climate and current macroeconomic developments," Cefic chief economist Moncef Hadhri says.
